What does Kynra mean?

The word “Kynra” is my own combination of a couple words from Old Norse:

  • Innra, which means “inner”

  • Kynni, which means “knowledge” or “skill”

This can roughly refer to “intuition,” and embodies the intuitive approach that leads my design process. I believe an intuitively designed website should be a joy to use, guiding users seamlessly towards their goals. The less a user has to think, the better!

This intuitive approach extends beyond aesthetics – it's about creating a website that feels right for your business, one that represents your brand identity and connects with your audience. When we work together, we also tap into that intuitive understanding to craft a website that truly reflects you.

Creativity and communication have always been a big part of my life, whether it was through music, writing, dance, or design (or studying Old Norse!). Over the past decade, I’ve explored and developed creative expression across various forms including copy writing and editing, marketing, teaching aerial dance, front end development, and UX/UI design, All of these ultimately have helped me develop my approach to design where I can blend connection, empathy, beauty, and intuition,
